SMSF Auditor

• Assist in conducting audits of Self-Managed Superannuation Funds (SMSFs) in accordance with Australian Auditing Standards and SIS regulations
• Review financial statements, member balances, investment compliance, and supporting documentation
• Identify audit issues, compliance breaches, and prepare audit findings
• Work closely with senior auditors to complete audits within timelines
• Maintain accurate audit documentation and records
• Stay updated with changes in SMSF legislation and ATO guidelines

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Basic knowledge of SMSF rules, SIS Act, and Australian superannuation environment
• 2 years of experience in SMSF accounting or auditing (preferred)
• Strong analytical and attention-to-detail skills
• Good communication and report-writing skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/audit software (BGL, Class, or similar is an advantage)

Desirable Qualifications:

• B.com ; CMA Inter
• Prior exposure to Australian accounting or SMSF firms
